Hello families and friends!
It is a New Year and we have kicked it off to a great start down in Kidz Church! The UniKidz (3-5 yrs) focused their lessons on peace during January. This month, in honor of Valentine's Day, their lessons will focus on love.
Last week Kidz I (Kindergarten and 1st grade) had their lesson on inclusion and talked about the 64 days of Peace & Non-violence. This week they are doing their lesson on St. Francis of Assisi. Kidz II (2nd and 3rd grade) and Kidz III (4th and 5th grade) are using the Joyful Path curriculum and teaching lessons such as Filing Our Hearts and Minds with Goodness, Courage and Experiencing the Peace of Spirit and Knowing Our True Self. We we also be exploring topics related to the season of peace and non-violence.
